4th St Elevator - Fenelon Place

Here we are at the 4th Street Elevator. It's not like an elevator like you'd see in a building, it's more like a cable car. A banker that lived on top of the bluff had a track and "car" built to make it easier to get to his house on top of the hillside. The "Fenlon Place" elevator (or as it's known locally, the '4th street elevator') is still used today, and is a local tourist attraction. The view from the top offers a great view of the city and the Mississippi River!
