What I love about Loras:
The outgoing community of faculty, staff, and students. As a new employee on campus the amount of people that went out of their way to welcome me to campus was amazing, and truly shows the positive culture on this campus.
Three words that best describe you:
Tall, Outgoing, and Funny.
Hobbies/Interests:
Basketball, Shoes/Sneakerhead, Video Games, Cooking/Grilling/Learning new recipes, Movies, and helping young people succeed.
Favorite book(s):
“Uncomfortable Conversations With A Black Man” by Emmanuel Acho; “Cry Like A Man” by Jason Wilson; “The Art Of War” by Sun Tzu.
YouTube or Netflix:
Depends on my mood. YouTube to kill time or if I feel like falling down a “rabbit hole”; Netflix to binge or casually watch TV and Movies.
Favorite course you took in college:
Real Estate Management.
Go-to meal in Dubuque:
I love “Frannie’s BBQ” on Central Ave. and “Shugga’s Soul Café” on University Ave. Anything I get from either of those places is always good!
Best selfie location on campus:
Keane Hall Porch.
While you're in Dubuque, you should check out:
The American Lady Cruise and The Riverwalk.
Advice to students with their college search:
Do your research and find a college that will meet your academic and social needs, as well as will make you comfortable and happy. Nobody else has to wake up and go to class for you or stay up late and write that paper for you. If the college you have chosen doesn’t meet your needs and make you happy, it will be harder to succeed.
