the HR tag will create a "Horizontal Rule" on your web page

it does have some "deprecated" attributes that you can use

• SIZE will change the size of the rule

• You can add a COLOR to your rule

• WIDTH will change the width of the rule

  ---

• ALIGN can change the placement of the rule

  ---

it is probably better to use CSS to format your rules, but we aren't going into that on this page.
