The summer before 6th grade, my family and I spent a month in Poland with my mom's family. We mainly stayed in the small town of Polaniec where my mom grew up.
According to my t-shirt in 2015, nerdy chicks rule. Here is a pic of me riding a bike by a power station that my grandpa worked at in Polaniec.
A zapiekanka is an open-faced sandwich that consists of a toasted baguette that may be topped with cheese, sausage/ham, mushrooms, ketchup, or other toppings.
