This is a list of tags that can be important to remember:
- HTML - Placed at the beginning and end of every web page. It means "Hyper Text Markup Language."
- HEAD - Contains information about the web page. One of two main parts of the web page.
- TITLE - The name of the web page. It is put in the head section.
- BODY - Contains all that appears on the web page. The second main part of the web page.
- P - A paragraph that can hold text.
- BR - A break in the text. Similar to pressing "Enter" in a document.
- A HREF - Converts text into a link to another web page. Needs a source to work properly.
- IMG SRC= ALT= - Displays an image based on the source given to it.
- UL - Unordered list. Creates a list of items labeled by a bullet point.
- OL - Ordered list. Creates a list of items labeled by numbers.
- LI - An item in one of the lists.
- TABLE - Creates a table with contents.
- TR - Defines a row in a table previously created.
- TD - Defines a cell in the table which can hold contents.
- HR - Horizontal rule. Creates a line that extends to each end of the web page.
