The Loras College Choirs and Loras College Wind Ensemble will perform its 10th annual Mysteries of Christmas: Wonder Foretold, Glory Fulfilled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5 at Church of the Nativity. The theme of this year's performance, "Wonder Foretold, Glory Fulfilled," was chosen based upon the readings for the first Sunday of Advent. MORE >>


Class of 1964 Set New Reunion Class Records, Raising Over $2.76 Million
With a desire to give back to an institution that invested in them over 50 years ago, the Loras College Class of 1964 has broken two College records by raising more than $2.76 million for their 50th reunion class gift and by doing so with 60 percent class participation.
Festival Takes the (Moon) Cake
A diverse crowd of about 50 students, faculty and others from the Loras College community gathered to learn about and participate in the traditional mid-autumn Chinese celebration. The Moon Festival, also known as the Moon Cake Festival, marks mid-autumn in the Chinese Solar Calendar. The Festival is one of several components of the new China program Loras has launched. MORE >>
Loras Link Story03 Students Set to Depart for McKee, Kentucky in Loras College Tradition
Each year, Duhawks commit their Thanksgiving break to serve others. Several service trips are scheduled through Loras College Campus Ministry each year, including such destinations as New Orleans, Chicago and Honduras. The trip with the longest history, however, is McKee, Kentucky. Students have been making this trip for more than 25 years. MORE>>

Phonathon Thank-you
Thank you to everyone who made generous gifts and pledges during our "Every Little Bit Counts" Fall 2014 Phonathon in early September to mid-October, and for helping Loras College continue to soar. This fall, our Dewey Callers were able to connect with many alumni, parents, and friends, committing a total of 1,764 pledges and more than $230,000 pledged to the Loras Fund! MORE>>
Loras Link Story07 Three Duhawks Named as Nation's Top Student-Athletes
Three Duhawks were named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District NCAA Division III soccer teams. Junior Sam Koenig earned the nod while seniors Kristina Everding and Hannah Wilson were honored for the women. With their All-District selection, Koenig, Wilson, and Everding are now eligible to be Academic All-Americans. MORE>>

The 2014 Loras College Football roster has a unique twist to it this year as it includes three brothers. Senior running back Calvin, sophomore defensive linemen Carson, and freshman linebacker Clayton Smith have, for the first time in their lives, been given the opportunity to put on the pads together and play for the same team.
